When Frank Schilling Speaks You Best Listen

Going through my morning routine (shit, coffee, smoke, scan Google Reader), I came across news of Frank Schillings new thing called Linkbox.com

Basically it lets you advertise on parked domains, and if you know a bit about parked domains you know they can perform as well as almost any other channel.

To be honest I thought Schilling was lounging in the Canary Islands somewhere for the past few years, but apparently he’s been doing work.

Here’s a write up from Conceptualist

  1. Thanks for the heads up. I have many parked domains. I should probably look at doing something like this to make some money off them.

PS-we have almost the same morning routine…

just contacted the site to try to give it a test. If you direct linked to that basic beta site. i wouldn’t have filled it out thinking its a make monies .com link.

of course he is up to this and it seems like a good idea. PPC revenue on larged parked portfolios is way down. Cut google and yahoo out of the loop.

yahoo is also about to cut off some domain parking ad feeds according to rumors.

Frank Schilling uses a Yahoo feed to monetize his parked names, but i doubt they would cut him off. He probably has the best/cleanest portfolio of any domainer out there.

I recall google recenlty allowing adsense on parked domains and it being a big deal. I always think affiliate ads are better than adsense in every case.
