Shawn Collins = No Balls?

We need a little drama – been quiet at PPC.bz lately.

If you haven’t heard the news, Shoemoney, AKA TurkeyneckMoney, was reprimanded for planning to show a PowerPoint of Dennis Yu’s lies. The fact that Shoemoney would put Dennis Yu’s dirty laundry in PowerPoint format is funny enough, but actually seeing it would have been a hoot. Anyway, apparently Shoemoney decided that this was horseshit and will not speak on the panel.

At first, I thought letting Dennis Yu stay on the panel was fine. It would have been an epic panel to try and see a blatant liar spill bullshit on people who know what they are doing.

But now that Shoemoney has backed out, leaving Yu on the panel (who is full of shit) is well, a fucking rip-off. People pay a good amount of money to see these sessions, and leaving up someone up there who doesn’t know shit, while removing someone who actually knows Facebook, is a crime against its attendees. People pay a lot of money to see these panels, so it is, in my opinion, a crime to allow a con to speak while the person who should be on the panel is removed.

That said, Collins needs to grab his dick and swing it at the clowns on the Aff Summit Advisory Board. That’s right Collins, grab your balls and tell these fools who’s boss. The same people who are letting Yu speak are the same people who will likely not vote for Barman (hey that’s me) as blogger of the year (cause they obviously do not keep it real.)

At least the people running Affiliate Convention have enough fucking sense to boot off Yu from their panels.

Most Panels are Full of Shit

It’s been a long-running joke that the panels at Affiliate Summits are worthless. Frankly, I just assumed that was false, but was too lazy to go to any panels anyway despite the ability to do so. There is some truth to that statement though. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure there are panels worth the money.

But from what I’ve seen and heard, they will let anyone speak on these panels. You just have to look pretty, have some credentials, and you’re good to go for spitting your bullshit on the masses. It’s fact that some of these people need to be vetted, especially when you have someone like Zac Johnson stutter through a panel on Facebook. The only thing Zac the Sac posts on his blog about Facebook is how to run a campaign that makes 2 figures.

Aside from a few gems in the rough, most of these panels are straight retarded. It’s either newbie 101 shit that will make you want to guage your eyes out (how to monetize your blog), or stupid shit like “social media marketing”.

Dear “social media marketers”: You are full of shit. No one gives a fucking fuck you have 12,000 twitter followers or 20,000 fans on your Facebook page. Social media marketing is a fucking pipe dream… for every person that can make it work (chances are they DON’T have a blog or overly promote their services because they actually are busy with clients), there are 1,000 others completely full of shit spending all day updating their blog and twitter profiles, providing no value to society, hoping that one day some clueless client will come along and pay them $3,000 a month to be their “social media expert.”

It’s one big circle jerk.
