I would love to bash gurus all day, but i got shit to do. Trust me, I miss it. But because of my lack of time to Photoshop semen stains on Howie Schwartz’s face, I highly recommend you read this guy’s blog: The Salty Droid. I don’t know much about this Salty Droid, but his whole blog is about bashing gurus. For instance, this latest post takes Ryan Deiss to task for attempting to spawn off clones of himself (aka more guru shitbags)
Basically you pay Ryan Deiss $500 and he will see if he wants to invest in your idea (ie, not invest in it, and steal it if it’s any good.) Is that what we’re coming up with guys? Really?
The comments on the post are also pretty rich.
Ryan Deiss epitomizes the world of “Let me show you how to get rich by selling people information about how to get rich.”
Hey, I thought that was John Chow’s line? Shit, at least John Chow has a physical book people can buy so they at least feel like they got something for their money.
A Contest
I’m going to hold a contest. First prize is nothing. Or maybe a Silver pass to ASE if you want one, but probably nothing.
If you haven’t noticed, (and if you haven’t then you don’t read blogs which is good for you), but this guy Profit Addiction is like blog-comment herpes. If you stumble upon a blog post related to affiliate marketing, and you scroll down to the comments, there is a 92.6% chance that Profit Addiction is the first comment.
How to win: You get 1 point for every comment you post on new blog articles before Profit Addiction. You gotta be fast though, because I think he built some custom tools or something to read brain waves to see when bloggers are going to publish new articles.
If you don’t have a blog you can link back to PPC.bz. If you don’t have anything good to write for the comment, that’s OK. Just writing “FIRST before profit addiction!” will work.
PPC.bz will automatically self-destruct if Profit Addiction is the first comment on this post.

FIRST before profit addiction!
If I post first, do I get a point?!
DAMNIT!!!!
Hahahaha epic post. I was actually doing some work this morning or I would have gotten a point. Oh well.
Blog herpies lololol
if u posted more id give them to u
Haha poor Jeremy. Too much comment love I guess man.
It’s all good. MOST of my comments are useful at least, except for 95% of them on John Chow.
I just want Eagle Status everywhere I go, that’s all
I was wondering when someone would call out PA.
It happened
I do admire how quick Profit addiction is with the comments.
Thanks Jon :)
(still ~40 away from Eagle Status here)
You will not win.
I will try!
real nurga shit bitch
I was bitching about this guy at Ad:Tech San Francisco.
For what?!
i think he went hay wired from profit addiction to comment addiction lol…
In after Profit Addiction.
Always :)
Hilarious, b/c I literally just came off PA after finally relenting to the “who is this guy” & clicking on his link. Guess the strategy is working in terms of traffic (compete in my seobook toolbar), but the optin & aboutus is (much, much) less than compelling even if I was a complete noob
Yeah my shit is weak. :(
Those areas are a work in progress!
I updated one of them, working on building some things to make the opt-in very appealing.
Thanks for the tips :)
It’s about time someone called out this tool CommentAddiction – glad it was ppc.bz

I guess Profit Addiction takes the blog commenting thing to the next level…
Is it worth your time? I mean, do you still have a life outside of blog commenting?
By the way: I’m hoping you’ll release an ebook detailing your blog-commenting secrets soon. :P
It doesn’t take as much time as you think :)
