or Stop Running With No Name Networks ’cause You’re Going to Get Burned
This sounds like a job for Protection.PPC.bz.
My friend runs a fitness website that gets some good traffic. He was enticed by the affiliate network – Traffic Needs – to run a certain offer that does well on his website. After some time, my friend racked up revenue over $10,000. Say what you want about the amount, but $10K is $10K and it’s his fucking money.
There’s forum thread that was started – after Traffic Needs started ducking people. The gist of it is that they are hard to get in touch with, and when you do get in touch you get the response “the check is in the mail.”
Fast forward to a few days ago, and now it’s official. Traffic Needs out of business. Clearly a lot of money is owed to a lot of people.
So my friend makes his side cash with his website, but now that he’s been stiffed, he can’t save his dog’s life.
Him: fuckin shit man
Him: my dog is going to die because these nigs won’t pay
Me: really?
Him: yeah really
Him: if I had my money I could pay the vet bill t o save my dogs life
Him: but instead I’m going to have to let her sit in a corner and wither away to nothing
Horrible Traffic Needs, horrible.
If you take anyway from this post, learn from his lesson. Stop fucking around with no-name networks. It’s so easy to start a fly-by-night operation and disappear the next day in this digital era. With shit like hasOffers popping up, the risk is even higher. So stop fucking around with networks run by amatuers.
This isn’t the first time people got burned, and it won’t be the last.

Traffic Needs fucked me in the ass with a red hot poker. My asshole affiliate manager Chris Janhke solicited me to join traffic needs like 6 months ago. I gave it a try because I was impressed with one of their offers. Now the pussy won’t return my phone calls, emails, or IMs. All the guys at TN are straight douchebags. I’ve learned my lesson about ever running with no-name shiesters.
Perfect opportunity for a hungry upstart new network to sweep in and save the damn dog.
Afforementioned hungry upstart network should save the dog and give PPC.BZ a new Rolex and some UFC tickets for breaking this news. Just sayin’
2 Problems with this article:
1. Barman doesn’t have any friends, only WoW charactors…
2. Doesn’t just SOUND like a job for protection dot, is IS a job for protection dot!
For another Network that sucks, try AKMG: http://www.nickmattern.com/akmg-sucks-heres-why/
I’m sorry about the dog, but if it is gonna die, can we make a dog rug or something?
For a network that DOES ROCK, try ROIShare: Sign up at http://www.roishare.com/?affid=uberfail&cocksize=1inch&doesntexist=true
the bad thing about Traffic Needs is that it was started by people that have been in this biz for years and years. They were just shady mofos. They actualy recruited affiliate managers away from other reps that had a ton of experience too.
I ran over a dog today so I guess I am kinda like Traffic Needs.
yo ppc.bz peeps, imma let you finish, but right now I wanna know wasup with Jonathan Volk’s regular, passive aggressive, I’M A SUPER AFFILIATE BETTER THAN YOU attitude?!??
A random dude stumbles on his blog and Volk leaves a comment saying dude has no industry rep, yada yada.
Mr. Volk seems a nice guy, but obviously he may have ego problems. Go read some bible verses on humility, greed, vanity…..
Most of the big playas don’t blog about it, especially the true Christians.
You should out the owners names of TrafficNeeds. This was affiliates dont get involved with them when they start their next fly by night operation.
I hate to break it to everyone but you are all bitching about a nobody (traffic needs) in this case but the truth is this publisher ran the “highest converting” offer without researching where it was coming from in the first place. Ya, it’s fucked that they are screwing him over but in business you got to use your fucking head. If your the type that can be swayed over just because the offer is the highest converting in it’s niche then good luck to you. You have more ass fuckings coming.
I guess that’s a good reason not to work with the small operators. I have some outstanding funds that I should go out and get right away.
Ruck said it best man. It’s tough when you’re pretty new to the biz. They had a highly converting offer with several marketable products. Roped me it, that’s for sure. This was a lesson in affiliate marketing that I won’t need to learn twice.
