Everything I need to know about PPC I learned from 2PAC

Hey,

This post was inspired by the classic poster, “Everything I need to know I learned in kindergarten.” Well fuck dat noize cuz i wasn’t listening to pac when I was in kindergarten so let me drop some real knowledge for you momos.

Alright on to the list…

10. Picture me rollin – With this lyric Pac asks his haters to picture him rolling in a benz on rims that aren’t stolen, among other things. For our purposes we will picture ourselves rolling in a big pile of cash (a nice byproduct of being good at ppc) – remember, positive mental attitude and visualization of your improved self is VERY important to success… some people do this unconsciously and don’t realize it, others who might have a lot of their thinking steeped in negativity might have to consciously focus on this.

9. “I want money in large amounts, my garage full of cars that bounce.” – Again, strive for that money sack. Money isn’t everything, but without you are NOTHING.

8. “Mama raised a Hellraizah” – If you want to bank big with ppc, you have to raise hell. Give your competition hell and just do it up big time. When you find something that works, be ready to scale and go gangbusters.

7. “All eyez on me” – If you want full exposure, you want all the eyes on your ad. This means you want the top spot, either in the sponsored results or at da top of da serpz.

6. “Making money off of cuss words, writing again. Learn how to think ahead, so I fight with my pen” – Here pac is encouraging us to fight the injustices of society with our writing skills. In other words, write killer sales copy that will drive sick conversion rates.

5. “The feds is watching, nikkas plotting to get me, will i survive will die, c’mon let’s picture the possibilities.” – Here we are reminded of those who wish ill will upon us – from the ABC regulatory gov’t agencies that would see would be entrepreneurs perish in a fiery death of red tape, to the nasty competitors that will snitch out our sites if we are doing something against an advertiser or google’s tos. Don’t forget, “Snitches get stitches!” (depending on how thug you’re banging, it might be ditches !!)

4. “Aight new drink, one part aleiza, one part cristal” – Doesn’t have anything to do with ppc really, but mmmm, sounds good, don’t it?!?!? THUG PASSION BABY!!!!

3. “You gotta keep yo head up” – Pac perservered through many hard times – crooked cops, murder attempts, scandalous bitches, record label controversies and PMRC backlash. He came out on top, to be one of the most loved and influential rappers of all times. When the shit hits the fan, the tough get going. And you must do just this if you wish to make it. When your biz falters, stick with it and solve the issue. You will be stronger and more experienced when you come out on top. Keep at it!

2. “Get yo money mothafucka let’s get rich and we’ll kick it” – This just sets it off. If you don’t get pumped to make some $$ with your ppc campaigns and kick back and blaze a garcia vega bumping your music of choice, you ain’t got the chops to make in this here ppc world. Ya dig?

1. “THUG LIFE BABY” – Now just to be clear, pac’s definition of thug was not some two bit criminal that most of us think of when we hear the word. According to pac’s interpretation of the word, a thug was a rogue type personality who came from humble beginnings and made a life for himself, displaying pride in the process. This sounds about right for many of the affiliate marketers I know. We live a different life than most, going against the grain of mainstream society and bucking the trend. We aren’t mindless sheeple who believe the only way to get by is to work a 9-5 for the man. In summation, many affiliate marketers live pac’s definition of a thug life simply by doing their own thing and surmounting the deck stacked against them in order to succeed.

Well, this wraps up lesson one of how I learned everything I need to know about ppc from Tupac. If anyone has any more ideas for inspiring lyrics from pac, please leave a comment… If you’re lucky I might just make a part 2 post and learn all you fools a thing or two.
