PPC.BZ MisAdventures: The Rick Flair Rug From the Red Rock Mansion

During Affiliate Summit West, there was a party thrown by the good people at Advaliant at the Red Rock Mansion. There were many affiliates from all corners of the earth there, and the PPC.bz crew was there in full effect.

After a few hours and many drinks later, the PPC.bz crew was chilling in a little den downstairs. It was close to a bartender and food, so that’s where we like to be. Someone (aka Barman) noticed there was a “fancy” rug on the floor, and someone else noticed that our friend c0ck loves Rick Flair. Put two and two together you get the story that follows:

The Rick Flair Rug Takes a Cab Ride to the Spearmint Rhino

Outside the Red Rock Mansion, c0ck was “Rick Flairing” a crowd of people hanging out. They loved it.

But Wait….

About 3 seconds in the cab ride c0ck felt bad about stealing the rug and had the cab driver turn around. The PPC.bz crew was split into 2 groups for cabs, and Barman was waiting at the Mansion for another cab. c0ck peels up, throws the rug on the fence outside the mansion and leaves.

But Barman is standing there thinking… “man, c0ck really needs that rug. He would look like such a pimp at the Spearmint Rhino”

So another cab pulls up to take the remaining PPC.bz Crew, and Barman runs to the fence to re-steal the rug, giggling like a little school girl.

Barman pulls up to the Spearmint minutes later. c0ck is waiting in line and the look on his face when he sees the rug is priceless. PRICELESS. Barman gives c0ck the rug and he gets back into Rick Flair character.

When it was our turn to get in…
Bouncer: Dude what the fuck is that?
c0ck: It’s my Rick Flair Coat! WOOOOOOO!
Bouncer: That thing is grimey as fuck, you’re going to have to check that.
c0ck: WOOOOOOOOOO!

c0ck then checks the coat in. Obviously there were no pictures from the Spearmint from here on out.

The Rick Flair Rug Goes Bowling at the Gold Coast

About 4 AM, the PPC.bz Crew goes bowling at the Gold Coast. The entire PPC.bz crew stayed at the Gold Coast because that is where the party is at. (24/7 Bowling = 24/7 Party).

Here is a pic of c0ck riding the escaltor to Gold Coast Bowling at 5 AM. Keep in mind at this point we are all wrecked from drinking for 12 hours straight.

After bowling, the rug slept on c0ck’s floor at the Gold Coast. c0ck claims he did not sleep on it but I don’t believe him.

The Rick Flair Rug Gets Returned to its Rightful Owners

Because c0ck felt bad stealing the rug (in truth Barman is the one who re-stole it)… well, not stealing from the Red Rock, but making Advaliant pay for damages… it had to be returned. c0ck and tmoneyfromwickedfire took a cab back to the Red Rock Mansion. About a minute before they arrived, tmoneyfromwicked realized he had a car in Vegas and this cab ride was unnecessary.

They were greeted at the door by the cleaning crew. The cleaning crew wondered why these gringos were at the mansion this early in the morning, but c0ck pushed them aside and made his way back to the den to return the rug.

c0ck Berates Barman for Stealing the Rug

For the next day and a half, Barman would never hear the end of it from c0ck. c0ck was pissed he had to spent $10 check the rug at the Spearmint Rhino, and was also pissed he had to drop $30 on a cab ride to return it. “Fuck you” and “Fuck you bringing the rug” and “Fuck making me carry around that nasty thing!”

Barman felt bad so he paid for c0ck’s trip to the airport. On the inside, Barman thought it was worth every penny.
